My curriculum is designed to enhance a variety of skills in your children.  In my preschool we will be focusing on building and developing social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and literacy skills.  All of which will prepare your child for kindergarten. 
     My lessons plans are designed in advance for the year, however, they are also flexible so I can cater to the needs and learning styles of individual students.  My curriculum is geared to fill your preschooler's day with opportunities to engage and interact with the environment.  I want the children to experience art, engage in construction, have opportunities to play music and to dance, experiment with science, and have the chance to participate in a myriad of other learning activities in a variety of centers.
Weekly Activity Plan:
9:00-9:15 Free Selection
9:15-9:45 Greeting Time: (social and emotional, Lang and Literacy) Special Day Friend (birthdays) Calendar, song/story time, transition.
9:45-10:30: LEARNING CENTERS: blocks, shapes, colors, computers, creative art, dramatic play, gross motor skills, literacy/writing, math, manipulatives, science, sensory skills, woodworking
small groups: speech/language, fine motor
10:30-11:00: snack(hand washing)
11:00-11:20- outside time: social/emotional and physical health and exercise
11:20-11:45-finish and review learning centers
11:45-12:00-clean up/prepare to go home, treasure box, folders, and assessments
